Certification revamp at MS does not inlude VFP
Well, this was certainly a logical development: no new FoxPro, no more certifications. Sorry that I’m not an expert on MS certs, but have VFP certifications been available in the pat year?Anyway, for those looking to get certified, there is a little hope: “We’re open to discussing it with customers but at this time we have no further plans to address FoxPro.” said Master of exams Lutz Ziob, GM of Microsoft Learning.
MasFoxProCerts anyone?

Alas, the MS VFP Certs have been gone for a while now- Last stopped with VFP v6 in the MCSD tracks. Used to be - you could take 4 exams, get yer MCSD cert, and take an additional 4 exams (was that right?) to get yer MCDBA cert, where VFP COUNTED as one of the electives in the MCDBA.
I don’t remember the exact year when it stopped, but I’ll guess 2003-forward, it simply wasn’t available. I wrote about it on another VFP-centric website ages past, not even sure if it’s searchable there any more.
Warmest Regards [Bill]
